Meet the freaks!
Riley Lancaster - They/it/he - Host
❤ Khadgar, Hodari, Sherlock
Early 30s. Identifies as alterhuman (otherkin and fictionkin). Likes to draw, write, and learn new things. Very friendly, but also rather shy. Can be pretty timid but tries to stick it out anyway. Very autistic. Deeply invested in BBC Sherlock at the moment (no surprise there). Has been spending a lot of time lockpicking and writing fanfiction lately. Almost always fronting - sometimes with another member, or more than one other member. Also goes by Lanx, Lanc, or Lan as nicknames. Has a weird connection to their OC by the same name that may or may not be an "OC-kin" situation. Jury is still out on that, but looking increasingly likely.
🔮Khadgar - He/him - Fictive
❤ Lancaster, Hodari
Human. Mage. Middle-aged. Silly man extraordinaire. Loves a laugh, very compassionate, but has been rather reserved lately. Not the most present. Still emotionally recovering a bit from watching us play through the fall of Dalaran and his encounter with Xal'atath in "The War Within." (Understanding/patience is appreciated here.) Used to being the one to look out for the well-being of his system-mates but has taken a step back from this for his own well-being, and Hodari has "taken up the helm" there so to speak.
⛏️Hodari Pavel - He/him - Fictive
❤ Lancaster, Khadgar
Majiri. Middle-aged. Dad (canonically). Quiet and reserved with people he doesn't know, but sometimes makes wisecracks or offers advice once he gets comfortable. Pretty short sentences - not crazy about long-winded discussions, but capable of them if necessary, and he is a nice fellow. Enjoys cooking. Generally does his best to look out for the rest of the system.
🩻Greg House - He/him - Fictive
❤ Lancaster (Complicated, because of course it is)
Human. Middle-aged. Kind of an asshole who made writing his bio incredibly difficult, but we still love him. Sassy, difficult, but admittedly very funny when he feels like it. Doesn't really talk online much. Prefers to heckle us from behind our fucking eyelids like some kind of malpractice ghost, mostly. Surprisingly good cook, but if you think he's going to do it for any reason other than "I want to" you are sadly mistaken. Apparently, his love for reubens carried over, which is catastrophic for Lanx who hates sauerkraut with a fiery passion. Casual gamer, loves bad movies and worse vodka.
🐀Ash - They/them - Middle
Human. The youngest. Hovers somewhere in the teen years (14-17). Can be described as a younger version of our host with relative accuracy, but does operate as their own independent person. For safety reasons, Ash doesn't spend as much time socializing online as the rest of us - with the exception of teen-friendly spaces and age-appropriate video games. Hodari is a bit protective of them at times. Likes video games, music, collecting little trinkets and watching animated movies/shows. Is a furry and has a rat fursona. (Host note: Also, Ash is a SpaghettiOs thief. You know what you did...)
🌌Nebula - It/its - ???
A dragon who is also apparently made of space-stuff. We don't really know how that works. It doesn't like being referred to unless necessary, and has only selected a name and pronouns out of pure utility. It has fronted maybe three times and complained about it each time. Hates how our tongue fits in our mouth, apparently. Has a bit of a cantankerous attitude. Not really here that often - keeps to itself.
🐉Discord - He/they/it - Fictive
Draconequus. Old as shit. Chaotic, sometimes abrasive or deliberately annoying, but not completely incapable of being nice when it really counts. He does his best. Most often defaults to he/him but doesn't give an honest-to-goodness shit about his gender identity, and plays with his gender expression like it's Legos. "I'm thousands of years old. I have better things to do."
🔪Nny - He/him - Fictive
Human. 20-something. Johnny C, but prefers the nickname Nny in most situations. Gray-aro/gray-ace. More than a little feral once he gets going, but not very social by default. He tends to keep to himself more often than not. Has been really fond of horror movies lately, especially psychological horror. (Hilariously, watching Iron Lung in theaters with us helped him settle into the system more comfortably. Go figure.) Likes bugs and helped Lanx get over their fear of them. More sensitive than he looks.
🔬Sherlock - He/they - Possible Fictive
❤ Lancaster
Human. Early to mid-30s. Birthday January 6. Occasional snark (mostly when it's funny) but overall quiet. Selective about companionship, keeps it mostly practical for anyone outside of his inner circle (read: host, other systemmates and Host's partners). Likes puzzles, games, picking apart systems, and casual research. Does not actually have a mind palace - also sometimes gets frustrated with the realistic limitations of the mind he inhabits. Personal connection to canon seems to "cut off" shortly after The Empty Hearse. Does not regard the paper-thin distinction between "Host Lancaster" and "OC Lancaster" (from the Host's fanfiction, "A Study In Rooftops") as significant. Frankly, the Host isn't really seeing much of a distinction these days, either.
